# Champions of Change — Power List finalist

## AdNews announced the finalists for its Champions of Change awards, which track real progress in diversity and inclusion across Australian media and advertising.

As Publisher Assia Benmedjdoub put it, the awards recognize the people actually moving the needle, rather than just talking about it.

I was listed among the 20 Power List finalists for individuals driving DE&I progress, representing [EssenceMediacom](https://www.essencemediacom.com/).

[WPP Media Australia](https://www.wpp.com/) also showed up in two categories: as a finalist for Workplace Diversity, and as a finalist for DE&I Initiative for their partnership with [Amaze](https://www.amaze.org.au/) on the A-Plus Inclusion Program.

The full list of categories included the Power List, Workplace Diversity, Social Impact, and Creative Catalyst.
