# Neuroinclusive Speaker & Panellist Technical Rider

This rider outlines technical and environmental accommodations requested to ensure neurodivergent presenters can deliver their best work without cognitive overload or sensory distress.

## 1. Stage, Lighting & Audio Environment
- **Lighting:** Avoid high-frequency strobe effects, sudden blackout transitions, or unshielded spotlights aimed directly at the speaker lectern.
- **Audio:** Provide a pre-event soundcheck in the quiet room/stage area to calibrate lapel mic levels. Stage foldback monitors should be balanced to avoid acoustic feedback spikes.
- **Visual Display:** Confidence monitor positioned at natural eye level showing slide presentation and clear timer countdown.

## 2. Schedule & Preparation Predictability
- **Run of Show:** Finalized schedule and tech run times provided at least 48 hours in advance.
- **Panel Questions:** If participating in a panel discussion, provide core theme questions and speaking order in advance. Avoid unexpected rapid-fire Q&A without preparation.
- **Session Breaks:** A dedicated 15-minute buffer before and after speaking sessions with access to the event Quiet Room.

## 3. Green Room & Quiet Space
- Access to a designated low-stimulus room (quiet zone with low lighting, minimal background noise, and no mandatory socializing).
