Async-First Workplace Communication Norms & Meeting Reduction Framework
Operational framework for media agencies. Establishes default written-first escalation ladders, meeting threshold audits, and notification blackout windows.
Why Async Communication Supports Neurodivergent Teams
Unscheduled calls and rapid-fire verbal discussions place heavy demands on working memory. Written-first workflows give team members time to process details thoroughly and produce higher quality outputs.
Implementation Code & Script
Guidelines defining when to use asynchronous documentation versus synchronous calls.
## Workplace Communication Escalation Ladder
1. Tier 1 (Default): Asynchronous documentation in project hub with 24-hour response window.
2. Tier 2: Threaded chat for urgent operational clarifications during working hours.
3. Tier 3: 15-minute synchronous call only when a written thread exceeds 5 exchanges without resolution.
4. Meeting Rule: No meeting may be scheduled without an agenda shared 24 hours in advance. How to cite and attribute this tool
