Why Explicit Technical Riders Create Better Presentations

# Speaker Technical Accommodation Rider

## 1. Stage Lighting & Visual Environment
- Avoid strobe lighting, rapid flash sequences, and direct high-intensity stage spotlights pointed at the speaker eyes.
- Ensure confidence monitors display static countdown clocks rather than flashing color alerts.

## 2. Quiet Room Access
- Provide access to a dedicated quiet room without background music or mandatory conversation for 45 minutes prior to presentation.

## 3. Q&A and Audience Engagement
- Share audience questions via a digital tablet or moderator rather than uncurated floor microphones.
- Allow 30 seconds pause time before answering multi-part technical queries.
