Amaze A+ Employer Program
Advisory board
Served on the Autistic Employee Advisory Group. We co-built neuroinclusive hiring frameworks that were adopted across the media industry.
Since February 2023 I have sat on Amaze's Autistic Employee Advisory Group for the A+ Employer Program, an education initiative designed with autistic people to help employers build genuinely neuroinclusive workplaces. I have also been a board adviser to Amaze since 2022.
The work
The advisory group ensures the program is shaped by autistic people, not just about them. Together, we built neuroinclusive hiring frameworks that media agencies are actually using.
The most visible adoption came through GroupM: EssenceMediacom, Mindshare and Wavemaker piloted the A-Plus Inclusion program starting in Neurodiversity Celebration Week to support GroupM's 16-point Disability Action Plan. I helped connect the two organisations.
Why it matters
A-Plus Inclusion is an education initiative designed with autistic individuals — and programs designed with the people they serve close gaps in ways top-down policy cannot.
The representation gap
The figures the programme exists to move, drawn as proportions rather than restated as prose.
