Dublin Institute of Technology (Education & Societies)
Vice President of DIT Societies Forum
Served as Vice President of the DIT Societies Forum and Chairperson of the Fashion Society, orchestrating major events.
Situation & Strategy
During my Bachelor of Science in Event Management at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), I didn't just want to attend classes—I wanted to lead. The strategy was to gain practical, hands-on leadership experience by taking on executive roles within the DIT Societies structure.
Tactics
I immersed myself in the DIT Societies Forum, eventually running for and being elected to Vice President, where I acted as second-in-command for the entire society ecosystem, offering guidance to Chairpersons and representing students on DIT committees.
Action
I served for over 3 years as Chairperson and Events Officer for the DIT Fashion Society. I organized model castings, weekly rehearsals, and the flagship Vodafone DIT Fashion Show, overseeing all marketing, accounting, and human resource management for the society.
Results
